Aim of the Site.

Camera advice.co.uk aims to bring together all the relevant information that you will need to help you buy the right camera to suit your needs.

Explain and simplify the process of buying a digital camera.

This site will explain all the jargon and the technical mumbo jumbo and put into layman’s terms what’s important in a digital camera. Once you’ve listened to my videos, or read my articles, you’ll be able to make up your mind which is the right camera for you.

About me.

My name is Justin de Deney and I’ve been a professional photographer for 15 years. I taught myself photography and started out shooting DJ’s and dance bands for DJ Magazine. I moved on from this after a couple of years and started shooting fashion, music and celebrities for the Face Magazine, Arena and GQ. This quickly led to shooting advertising and the ability to make a proper living out of photography!

Why did I start this site?

I decided to start this website because in all that time as a photographer I constantly get asked one question. That question is ‘what camera should I buy’. This is not necessarily a simple question to answer. So, I thought if I put all the relevant information on a website I could help people buy the right camera.

So many websites and camera manufacturers seem to rely upon stats and numbers to impress customers into buying their cameras. On this website I want to create a resource that will give you relatively jargon free, number ‘light’ information, that will point you in the right direction. I will also endeavour to explain what jargon there is in simple laymans terms.

How to use this website.

You can start by looking at what kind of digital camera would be good for you. Then you can think about the actual model and make. Then will I suggest a few good and a few cheap places where you can buy your camera. I will also review and recommend several great cameras that are around at the moment

Okay, that’s about it from the intro. You can now move on to the next section which will explain the advantages of digital photography.

Just started following you on Twitter and had to come over to check out your site.

Looks really interesting, I look forward to going through the articles, especially the camera reviews, and if you do some lens reviews too.

    Keep up the good work,
