The New Olympus Mju Series

Ultra slim yet but bursting with power, the new Olympus Mju cameras will be available from March 2010. Retaining the popular Mju size, the range benefits from many new features, including increased optical zooms up to 10x, up to 2GB of internal memory for your pictures and HD Movie recording*. The new Olympus Mju Series comprises of four models; 5010, £199.99, 7040, £239.99, and 9010, £289.99. They are available in a range of stunning colours; titanium silver, light pink, light blue, coral blue, orchid purple, copper blue, dusty pink, champagne gold and midnight black.

Perfect for slipping into your handbag or coat pocket, the new 14 Megapixel Olympus Mju cameras take sharp images and benefit from HD movie recording (the 7030 allows you to record with sound). Optical zooms ranging from the ultra-slim wide 5x (5010) and 7x (7030 and 7040) to a staggering wide 10x (9010) ensure you will always be able to capture your pictures even at a distance. Finding images is simple thanks to new Photo Surfing technology and Olympus software, which quickly locates your pictures by event, people and location using GPS, Face Detection or the date.

The cameras also feature Dual Image Stabilisation and AF Tracking to avoid images from blurring, even when subjects are on the move. Advanced Face Detection identifies up to 16 faces for sharp images and Beauty Mode is also on board, making skin appear brighter, smoother and more youthful. Four Magic Filters; Pop Art, Fish Eye, Sketch and Pin Hole let you take fun and imaginative photos and an In-Camera Panorama mode allows you to compose panorama images of approximately 130 degrees.
